Our fan club publicly refused the official recognition by EPE because of disregards, obstacles and in fact moskery from EPE.
1) As for disregards, EPE ignored our e-mails for half-year and then pretty directly said:"On behalf of Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, Jack Soden, myself, and the entire staff of EPE, we do appreciate your dedication to Elvis and we will (and do) support you and your club beliefs as long as you have the correct information pertaining to the subject that you feel so strongly about" and at last in rude form EPE warned "Please don't continue to defame EPE or our staff. If you do, I will terminate your club."

Direction of EPE, Inc. also ignored our e-mails and registered letters and did not reply at all!

2)As for obstacles, EPE prevented us from obtaining permission agreement, so you can see:

Tatiana,

Yes, you will need a permission agreement. However the first step is to send us a sample of what you want to make so that we can look at it and approve it. Go ahead and forward that to me at:

Dear Sirs,
Why I have to wait your reply so long?
When I first time inquired about permission agreement in October, 2003 I had to wait your reply one month!!!
And again now when I contacted to Fan Relations Dept. on Monday regarding permission agreement you do not reply me.
I just would like to know
Did you receive my letter with 2 samples of calendars or not?
Does it take you one month to reply me via e-mail?

Between Christmas and Birthday we were all out of the office for an extended period of time. I now have over 1100 email which to answer. Slowly but surely, I am answering ALL requests.

I did receive your calendars and in fact, drew up your permission agreement yesterday. I will be mailing it to you today. In the mean time, go ahead and make the calendars. Please keep in mind that only articles that are listed on the approved items will be accepted. That information was sent to you in your welcome kit.

When we receive emails during high traffic times like Christmas, Birthday and Elvis Week, it does take us longer to answer. We do apologize for this, but with a little patience, we will always answer your email.

2.1) Pay your attention that October (when we inquired about permission agrement) is not period Christmas or Birthday!

2.2) By the way, release CD is not listed on the approved items that can be accepted, however, EPE does not remind "Lucy de Barbin fan club" of it.

3)As for in fact moskery,
compared these words from e-mail " In the mean time, go ahead and make the calendars" with text from letter that we received "Please note, that if the Fan Relations Department does not receive one (1) fully executed copy of the enclosed Permission Agreement and Exhibit A on or before April 30, 2004, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. shall be deemed to have withdrawn its offer, and the eclosed Agreement shall be null and void and have no force or effect whatsoever" or with text from Agreement "NO ARTICLES SHALL BE MANUFACTURED, PROMOTED, SOLD OR DISTRIBUTED WITHOUT LICENSOR'S PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL.", so we can only wonder!

We received 2 signed copies of Permission Agreement and letter. We do not think that covering letter can control the term of return of Agreement if it was not fixed in Agreement.
